I'm a bit late on this one Tay.... I purchased my timing belt through ebay UK....1 week and it was here... it also included accessory belts and pulleys and much cheaper than I was expecting....

put some grease on the plates the strut tops rotate on...you will have to remove the springs to do this.

change the wastegate actuator... almost all other turbos come with an actuator around 7-8psi, so it would be a matter of trying to fit one of those.

the other option is that the ratio of the speedo cable at the gear box and/or dash cluster is different to the MB

easily solved...fit an alto gear box :D

OR you can buy a speedo converter type box, but they aren't cheap....

husky you can mate the f8b to the f5a auto, and just use your current f5a carby....the performance loss will not be noticeable....i wouldn't do that g/box arrangement long term as the auto's are horrible to drive!!!! gilly don't want you to suck eggs, but make sure you put that coil/spring cover on your new hose as that will stop it kinking when it gets hot as it's on a wicked curve!!!!). alot of turbos which blow smoke is usually due to a partially kinked or kinked oil return hose which forces oil out into the ...

to be honest you will find the G10a conversion more powerful, less costly and simple in terms of modifications......don't think that f8b/f8c is your only option from a f5a....
