See, we don't have that pink slip system here, if you put a car in for a roadworthy certificate here, they will give you a copy of the inspection sheet which tells you what needs fixing. You then have 30 days to get those things fixed and bring it back for the second inspection. If they're fixed, yo...

so when you are guiding them in, is there supposed to be a point where you hear/feel a significant click that determines they have seated. I didn't get that...just got to the point where they wouldn't go any further and figured that with the amount of force I had to use to get them out, they must ne...

I thought he knew what he was doing but (after I test drove it a few times) I noticed that the belt had absolutely no slack whatsoever, I loosened it a little to give...

yeah, I think you may be right about parking it up. The noise gets loud and quiet even whilst idling. Sometimes it's barely there then it will get really loud. to describe it, I would say it sounds like....well the best comparison would be one of those oscillating room fans where the shroud is sligh...

I put $20 petrol in thinking it may be empty and it still sat there doing nothing. I gave the dash and the tank a good whack....didn't help I have read other posts abo...

is it in yet?? lol

Hey all, have just put the engine back in the boy after having it out for 6 months to work on. What I'm not sure about is the CV joints and how they go back in. When I pulled them out, I left them attached to the wheels and used a tyre iron to lever them away from the gearbox housing (as per what th...

Sometimes it's realy LOUD and then it will quieten down for a bit. I'm thinking it may be the warped belt guide disk I ment...
