I've installed a reconditioned drive shaft courtesy of Driveline Services (Brendale) who had both shafts in stock :!: All I need now is an exhaust system, then put the radiator and support panel back on, replace the fluids - radiator, sump, brakes & its driveable.(as an auto  ).

I had a look at this one when it was for sale in Palmwoods Qld. It is bolted to a stretched LJ80 chasis and drivetrain, the body has been converted to 4 seats. I didn't buy it as it was priced at $9000.00 - an LJ80 can be had much cheaper. Rather have a Sierra. (or the yellow concept in my gallery)....

Hotrodders often use this style wheel. They are as Brayden suggests chromed steelies, usually reversed rims. You can find manufacturers in Aussie magazines like "Cruisin'" . May be hard to find a size to fit an MB.

Starter solenoid, temp sender, reverse switch(auto trans) all give grief. I think I have most under control but that diagram would simplify things.

Thanks,

If anyone has the parts needed, let me know - I may not want them immediately (the usual money problem) but I will need them soonish. :)
edit: I also need a flywheel.
Thanks again,

The Gt40R is an oil filled/oil coolled canister type coil & the GT40RT is of the transformer type. Both are suitable, both must be used with a ballast resistor. The only big difference is in price, the GT40R is the cheaper option.

The best info I have for now - is that Mark is currently operating from home. (second hand advice, could be wrong). The Kayleigh Drive phone number had been diverted to a new number. Telstra were giving a message to advise the new number before switching it over - Every time I have called in the las...

another g'box/driveline query

My MB rolling shell came as a freebie - I had to purchase the driveline.
For $400.00 I recieved an F8b mated to an auto, an F5a, a 4sp manual & a driveshaft.
Can I tell if I have the F8b 4sp without opening it up? and can I work out wich side c.v.shaft I have without fitting it up?
