there's a MB at Boss Wrecking, it's a bit rusty but it might have the front bumper on it....

if you need it for RWC I can lend you one of mine, but I haven't decided if i'm going to part with it yet so I will need it back afterwards....

nova I think you will find that the amount applies to 'cars' that have 3 cylinders.....we don't have a car but a 'ute', it comes under the light commercial class vehicle so it a bit more than that. (From memory around the $200 mark for 6months...)

yes in the cappa(EA11R) and the carry trucks(DA52T) i think.... 8)

steve k6a uses a timing chain rather than a belt so it is unlikely you would be able to swap the heads....easily!!!!

back firing through the carby can actually do good as it forces things to go the opposite way they usually go, thus cleaning the small jet orifices and dislodging any gunk in there....

If you only direct the torch on the bolt it will 'crack' the seal and rust on the thread and washer on the pulley. Then hit the pulley with a hammer all the way around the edge then use an impact driver when the it's cooling down (spray water onto the pulley to get the greatest temp difference), oth...

nice work dave!!!! 8) On my MB's (the f5a and f8b have the same design flaw) when I have the engine out the first thing I do is cut off the bottom of the timing belt cover around the crank pulley. This way it still is in one piece and can easy be removed by lifting it up.... do you have an inspectio...

to answer your question on how to use a timing light. there are 2 kinds, one that uses the car battery for power and the other that has it's own batteries for power. The cheaper ones use the car battery for power and it's as simple as hooking up the black alligator clip to the negative terminal and ...

yes cylinder1 at TDC compression stroke will have the rockers lose on the cam. you should assemble everything at TDC!! check your cam timing again (ie. TDC and both crank and cam pulleys alligned), put the dizzy in at TDC, rotate the crank 2 rotations to check all alignments. Once together get a tim...

sorry forgot the rhb31's were set higher from factory....almost all other turbo's have a 7psi spring in them std. before you take it apart completely, you could experiment with a boost controller, try a simple manual bleed type first, but for a reliable boost control get a electronic boost controller.

adding trailer brakes would be over kill...like gadj said even with the 200kg's it still felt safe (you can feel it pushing the car a bit though!!!) Remember this is a half MB so the usable area is quite small, unlike a normal box trailer where you could easily reach the 750kg limit, and the MB axle...

ball rating is vertical load (60kg), towing capacity is horizontal load (750kg)... ATM of 380kg is measured from the wheels and towing coupler with a 200kg load.... GTM of 350kg is the same thing just only measure at the wheels. So the most the tow ball will see weight wise is 30kg, half of what it ...

don't worry steve all legit... have gas certificate and they said all I have to do is use the std. fuel setup with an isolator switch for the pump and a manual tap on the line. It will be plated when I take it to the trailer manufacturer in the new year.... hondamightyboyrule, aranda make a tow bar ...
