'82 Hatch Build Thread

Hi All, I've just become a owner of a '82 Hatch. Re: Fan belt

I'd be checking the bolt that holds the pulley on, if thats tight then remove the bolt and pulley and inspect the inside of the pulley for wear.

Re: Fan belt

Repco stocks pretty much all parts for the Hatch.

what engine?

I have a f5a, I think I paid about $15 for a air filter, but thats cost price because of work, so they prob retail around $30 at a guess.

Sound Deadening

Hi all,

Has anyone used sound deadening mats in their hatch? Wondering how many sheets/material you needed.

Also for anyone and any car, what is the best brand of matting you have used?

Any help would be great.

Re: (NSW) Spring cruise ideas thread

Hi everyone,

New to the forum

Id be keen to come down from the Hunter Valley with my Hatch.

As for a date, i dont plan more than a week in advance so im good just about any date, but I agree, no school holidays.

Would be cool to see a few hatch's come along with your MB's.
