I have a tip for you.
Before fitting the boss, ensure the indicator pins are the same distance apart as the original wheel..
My SAAS wheel fiited the SAAS boss no problems, but the pins were too narrow, and broke the plastic stuff in the switch housing thingy.

My MB is a bit temperamental. Some days it easily does 100km/h and on others struggles to get to 90. Seems to perform best with a full tank rather than empty. mmmm maybe a tank removal is immanent. Headwinds are a complete pain! Oh and so are hills! I'd say there is something drastically wrong with ...

Re: Adding A/C to a Mighty Boy?
Has anyone attempted to add air-conditioning to a Mighty Boy before? Was it a particularly painful and expensive experience? I don't know about expensive, but painful would be an understatement. Not in fitting - but in driving. Gee, my MB loses performance by turning the headlights on! I can't imag...

Re: F5A Head Chamber Volume.
A knowledgeable friend of mine was asking after the figure - he wants to calculate the ACTUAL compression I have (rather than the published compression). Surely the published figure is close enough, unless there has been some modifications (head shaved, block decked, different pistons, different he...

99% it will be the thrust bearing. Disagree! If you read the post, there is no noise with the clutch depressed. Thrust bearings spin with your foot on the clutch. Noise is apparent when clutch is released, ie crank driving input shaft. First diagnosis is probably correct - input shaft bearing. That...

Back in my younger days I used to compete in motorkhanas, and it was a lot of fun. With a bit of practice it becomes quite easy. The hardest part was remembering the circuit. Front wheel drive cars were better at it, hence a lot of guys had modified minis and mokes. His gear changes from fwd to rev ...
