If you use your old mans ute the rta allows you to have a maximum overhang of a load of 1 metre. last time I looked a boy doesnt have more then 50cm overhang so if the boy will fit in the tray you will be right. you could also ask local auto glass place how much for a custom made window and lead time, people ask for custom made windscreens all the time. It might be just as cost effective

f5a no way to putting AC on
but standard F8b would be OK if you are in a cruising mood for more than 30 mins apart from that just wind down both windows.
provides enough airflow for short trips around town or just wait till cool of afternoon/night to travel
