Re: Kei's 2001 Carry ute

After I got it back to Brisbane I stripped the interior carpets / seat covers, removed the dash and cleaned a lot of dirt out.

Then, I got some new 15x6.5" wheels for it:

Kei's 2001 Carry ute

I figured I should make a thread to keep my car's progress in one place. I bought this Carry on eBay, flew down to Adelaide to buy it and drove it back to Brisbane over 3 days. It's been a farm car most of its life and is the dirtiest thing I've ever laid eyes on, including my girlfriend unfortunate...

I can't even put into words how jealous I am of the o/s truck options.

Re: Carry Wheel FAQ?

Got some wheels today: CameraZOOM-20141029163217190.jpg Here's a few more pics: http://imgur.com/a/Ns1vT#0 They're 15x6.5" SSW Spiders. Tyres: 185x55x15s. Fits no problem, so close to the guards that I might not even need flares to be legal, but I have some coming anyway so I'll put them on.

Re: Carry Wheel FAQ?

Thanks Brayden,

There are heaps more options if I can start looking at 6 / 6.5 wide.

Any idea what kind of offset is needed? 40?

Carry Wheel FAQ?

Is there a Carry wheel FAQ anywhere?

I have a 2001 1.3L Carry Trayback. Desperately needs new wheels and tyres and I want to know what will fit.

I'm thinking 4x100, 15x6 wheels.

Does anyone know if that will fit? I don't mind if I have to put flares on it.

Re: Daihatsu Copen vs Suzuki Cappuccino

I just flew down to Canberra, bought it and drove back to Brisbane.

Phew, that was a long drive, only snuck in 2 hours sleep (inside the car!) at a rest stop on the way.

Re: Daihatsu Copen vs Suzuki Cappuccino

Thanks Bray-Bray,

Man, it's a tough choice.

Cappuccino: Cooler, faster, more unique.
Copen: Newer, smarter, easier

Daihatsu Copen vs Suzuki Cappuccino

Hey folks, been a while since I've posted. I'm thinking about getting rid of my 350z and getting a Cappuccino or a Copen. Has anyone driven both in standard form and can give some anecdotal comparisons for me? There are no Cappuccino's around for me to test drive in Brisbane, but there's one for sal...

Keep in mind that the F6A is a "kei" class motor.

That means the power is regulated to be no more than 45kw in order to comply with japanese kei legislation.

Typically, they get large gains from simple breathing mods, beyond what you'd normally expect.

Sounds good, what's the total cost including box + install?

I couldn't see a gallery for you, do you have pics floating around?

Which suziauto did you go to? I have had good experiences with Lance at suzisport Albion.
