Re: Seat belts for MB

Either Klippan have gone bust or sold out to another manufacturer, because I can't find them anywhere either.
I recently bought a universal belt for my Carry, if I get a chance I'll see if it will fit the MB.

Re: F5A Bore Size

Not sure what happened with that link, it should have gone to the F5A pistons. Their website must be a bit broken. If you search you'll find them. They also sell genuine rings, but the price is more than the piston set! (Hope this link works!) https://www.suziworld.com.au/productdetail/Suzuki-Piston...

Re: F5A Bore Size

Full workshop manual is available for free here: http://www.teammightyboy.com/workshop/39-tech-info 62 x 60 bore/stroke. Not sure if you can buy rings separately but a set of new pistons/rings/pins is only $85. https://www.suziworld.com.au/productdetail/JJC-Piston-STD-.050-1.00MM-Suzuki-Alto-Mighty-...

Yes, it's been done a couple of times that I know of. Dunno if any swaps have been described in detail though.

I have run Penrite semi synth 15-40 in my F8B for 15 years and it is still running strong.

You can upload pics directly to the forum. ;)

I'm amazed that you're doing all of this without a hoist!

Interesting that it sits higher with the Matiz struts - you used the Matiz hubs too, right?

Re: Tonneau Cover Under bar??

Tonneau covers weren't a factory option, so each dealer sourced their own. That means you need to see a local auto trimmer and get them to make one that matches the existing fittings (press stud, bungee cord, etc).

Re: Scott's f8c conversion

FYI the Hatch 3 leaf setup is rated slightly lower than the mono parabolic leaf on an MB - if that matters to you. ;)

Re: Possible Valve Stem Seal Leak?

I cut my inlet gasket from a roll of material that is slightly thicker than the factory gasket - when I say slightly I mean a fraction of a mm.
Hasn't leaked in a decade of hard boostin'. :D
