Re: miltons mighty boy

Haha, yeah I had that colour picked out even before I started stripping it down nearly a year ago, yeah it is 2pack. Not sure about the dash, but everything else was knackered so I daresay it would have been cracked and faded. The dash in my interior is pretty stuffed too so when I get it back on th...

Re: miltons mighty boy

Is the dash pad the bit between the bonnet and windscreen? If so it was mostly rusted out.
We do have another MB here that has been crashed and from memory that part should still be in good nick, I can have a look for you if you like?

Re: miltons mighty boy

It's blueprint mica, it's the light blue you see on a lot of fords. I have recently taken a real liking to the darker blue used on the new holdens, wish I had have gone with that colour but no going back now.

Just followed a black MB out on Reid hwy, Perth. With a TMB sticker and "sooty" on the back windshield, does that belong to someone on here?

Re: rims: size, customize etc

a guy down the road said he will roll the wheel arches for $50 an arch :-o you could do this yourself with just a piece of pipe. Use the tyre as a lever with the piece of pipe and roll the car back and forwards to roll the lip and push the guard out slightly. It may damage the paint a little, but m...

Re: rims: size, customize etc

The other thing to consider when fitting larger rims is the offset. If its not spot on you'll get scrubbing on the inside or the guards respectively. I've got 15" x 6.5" rims with a 35 offset. And 165/45/15 tyres. I had to roll the guards and now there is only just enough room in all direc...

Re: rims: size, customize etc

Re: another one bites the dust

As you can see from the Pictures all have already been taken off. Bar the front seal which was dry and cracked.
As I have said, there was barely a thing left to salvage
