Thanks Brayden, I remember noticing the dash in your MB and thinking how good it looked. Is there much work in fitting it into the MB?

all i did was just wrote down what colour goes where for the original wiring(so if it was wrong i could just put them back to original place), same thing for the digi dash loom..and swapped them around in the deally.....very descriptive way of putting it hehe

I got the dashboard from a Hatch I bought and wrecked, so I had the dash loom. That meant it was a direct swap without rewiring a thing.

From memory the only things I had to modify were the heater/fan switches and use spacers to drop the steering column by 5mm so the plastic column shroud would fit on without rubbing and creaking.

2 weeks have gone since my last update........took the boy down to my mates place so i could get more done to it..ive got no room in my backyard....anyway......most of the body filling is complete.....bonnet is green...interior stripped...still have to get motor out to do bay....
its all coming together quite well tho...

decided to take out the keylock....since he's central lockin(im lazy)
looks sweet with just primer on him....should be green in september hopefully..if weather permits.

the passenger side i took out yea.....hav yet to do the drivers side...i tried undoing the screws but i was just farkin em up...so ill prolly just leave em in there..
