Hi, just thought i would put some info and pics up of the mightyboy that im rebuilding at the moment, got it off a mate for nothing, its a 1986 mb had a f5a/4sp that had a massive letgo so now has an f8b/4sp to go in when i got it, it had been sittin under a lemon tree for 12 months
this is what it looked like when i got it, cleaned it down and found acouple of big surprised
cut it all out and replaced it with new steel so not going to be coming back, have done all the body work myself apart from the front flares for the mag wheels, and made a new aircleaner unit for it
after all was done and primed up took it to a mates place and he painted it up for me i had the paint sitting around for about 4 months
this is how it sits today , bumper and lights are all back in , interior is about 85% done made a centre console, speaker pods for the rear..

Nice work - love the colour. Those tyres are massive though!
F8B EFI turbo - Three pots and a snail.
That rust repair has me feeling more positive for mine... still tryin' to find funds for a G10a transaxle & other work.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..

it a good colour hey i like it, they rims and tyres were about the only thing i could afford at the time the tyres are 175/60/r14 so on full lock dont scrub which is good ,just looks so big cause its sitting so high, hopefully ill have some console and interior pics tomorrow once i finish recovering the door trims and rear speakertrims
