Hey all,
Well I first had a black Mighty Boy, but one day I discovered it was leaking - pulled the dash apart and sure enough theres a hole underneath the cowling letting water in. So i poked and prodded with a screwdriver, and sure enough the hole was HUGE - and also went thru the firewall near the top engine mount
So rather than fix that up, a mate gave me an old shell - surprisingly rust free!
So off it went to the soda blasters, heres how it came back:
Then we welded up and grinded any holes that we didnt want, did a bit of panel beating, etc and deoxidined the whole car, then layed down some etch primer and some primer:
Engine bay done black:
The car will be painted acrylic white. Stay tuned for more updates!

Looks good man.
Im waiting for the day I can strip back the hatch, once I get another vehicle then I'll pull her apart.
Out of intrest, what was the charge for the soda blasting?
