Realistically you would be better off starting your own car club as there are a variety of them out there im sure enough people on the forum would appreciate it. I believe you need a minimum of 6 members and you will need to have meetings and events. They dont have to be as full on as the bigger clubs but worth while looking into.
The money i save wont buy my youth again!
I'd be looking into a jap car club that has classic jap stuff in it.
There's a lot of stuffing around to start a car club, a couple of mates of mine have started one, lots of BS to go thru to be eligible for club rego too. Well worth it in the end, but a lot of BS!

I don't think anyone has .
The car club I'm with, The rattlers car club of Australia Inc, (not accepting new members) has vic club permit scheme and I have my mighty boy on it. It's on M plates because it's modified. I should post up a pic on day soon. Possibly the first mighty boy on club permit in Aus?
Cheers

Mine has been on club plates for over 12 months. TCCAV (Toyota Car Club of Australia -Victoria) welcomes always new members as long as there is a genuine interest in using the car for club events (almost every week end there is either a competition - motorkhana/sprint/hillclimb/regularity or get together for coffee and donuts).
I have been part of many clubs and this is by far the best.
