Hi I scored a pair of Narva Spot lights off a forklift for free and want to put them on the boy. I have most wired up just wanted to know what colour high beam wire is or if anyone else has added and how they wired up. Thanks

The wire from the switch goes to the high beam not low beam. Spotlights are only allowed to be on when the high beam is activated.

That guide is for fitting a set of general illumination lights to the back of a 4x4. Not suitable for driving spotlights.

simple way
battery positive to 30 amp fuse to No 30 on relay
relay No 87 goes to spot lights.to the wire that goes to the middle of the globe...
on the globe housing or LED set up will have a terminal or earth wire which you connect to earth (body)
you find the power (12v) high beam supply wire at the headlight and connect it to No 85 on the relay
from relay No 86 you run a wire to one side of a toggle switch inside the cabin and from the other side of the toggle switch you run it to earth
this is the safest approved way to hook up anything through a relay as you dont have extra powered up wiring going into the cabin :wink:

30 =12v
87 =lights
85 = power input from source(12v)
86 = switched earth

clear as mud

Hi Salty.
Ok, so I printed off an A3 copy of Brayden's (excellent) circuit diagram from here: http://www.teammightyboy.com/workshop/3 ... ng-diagram, and traced back from each headlight to the combination switch module.

Now, if I understand the abbreviations at the light switch and if "HL" = "Headlights-Low" and "HU" = "Headlights-Upper" (??!!) then the wire you want is RED ONLY.

Cheers
