JB thanks for having a look. The strut tops on mine are one the way out so I was looking at fabricating a set from scratch using a tapered roller bearing in the there but if I can by a set with a pillow ball then it is not worth my stuffing around.

Hey JB,
Do you have any drawings of your cage for RTA approval or similar?

Looking awesome, keep it up!

I don't have any drawings for the cage, I just made it to fit! The side intrusion bars went in to clear the seats I'm using, and the main diagonal also locates itself to clear the two seats as it passes down to the footwell.

I wouldn't be worried. Besides a set of new pads and slotted rotors my brake system is the same as it rolled off the factory floor and it worked for me - even after sticking a turbo on. Worst case you might want to fit a remote booster if you're heavy on the pedal, but I reckon you'll be fine.

Hey guys, I didn't have time to check out the car on the weekend, but I did find the options list for the Teins including a listing for the pillow ball plate, I will scan the catalogue and post it up soon. Will also get some more shots of the rear wing.

JB thanks for the update with the strut top. at 22,000 yen with the current exchange rate of 76 yen it is going to add up to nearly $300 plus freight so I might have to think about it a little harder.

If ordering multiple sets will help with price then put me down for a pair. :)

Without hijacking the thread too much I have put the feelers out to get an idea on pricing. Once I have that sorted I will start another thread to see who is interested if we are to go ahead with a bulk buy.
