Cool, Thanks Tez, lets give this a try. So this is a shot of the car freshly painted in 15P with a gold pearl. (Not really visible in this shot! Trust me, it's there and looks the goods) Rear flares just pinned on for the moment. I've since remade the tailgate/cover in carbon. It looks a bit average right now as it's as it came out of the mould and needs a rub back and some clear.

Here is a better shot of the tray cover. Note the 'chrome fader' rear window tint

And in keeping with the carbon theme, carbon mirrors.

Next are a few shots of the interior, starting with the roof lining. I had it custom made, in 80's throwback quilted velour. Also now seen on modern luxury/sports cars!

Here is my take on the rear interior paneling. This is prior to having the aluminium anodized.

Hmmmm...yes, that is sideways.

More shots of the interior.

As you can see, I finished the cage with a large diagonal into the passenger footwell, in the absence of any rear diagonals this properly braces the main roll hoop, although the side intrusion bars were always the motivation for any internal bar work. You can see some the the rear paneling now anodized black, as well as my front floor panels anodized in natural. Sparco wheel and Suzuki Sport gearknob add valuable wank points!

This shot, (again F*cking sideways) shows the pedal assembly which I disassembled and modified. First I remade the pivot pin, and put bronze bushes in the brake and clutch pedals. Now they don't have so much sideways play, and pivot on proper bushes. I also cut off all three pedal foot pads, welded on drilled and tapped lugs to the bottom of the pedals and threaded posts on the back of the pads, and now I have adjustable pedals. While I was at it, I had the whole lot re-plated. Believe it or not, I DON'T have too much time on my hands, I just put in at least an hour or so every night, plus I just like modifying stuff, even if it mostly doesn't need it - like the pedal assembly! Also had a stainless sleeve put in the brake master cylinder and put a new kit through it.

Umm, that's all I got for the time being. I've started work on some dashboard mods, and there are more interior details coming soon. Wheel and tyre combo's are being sorted out, and I hope to find time to get back onto the engine soon. May also have a change with the suspension that should be pretty unique too.

Truly a work of art in progress mate, and motivates me to do more to my ute. Some inspiration there for a lot of other owners too I would say!

I'll be chasing you about a feature article when it hits the road too! :D

Thanks for the kind words. It's nice to have a forum such as this to display your hard work to like-minded people, none of my mates here are really into cars so they don't appreciate the work that goes into restoring/modifying. Thanks Brayden, I feel honoured to have you consider profiling my car, just got to finish the damn thing now!

Nice to see another G10 out there. I am sure that you are familar with the teamswift.net website. If you aren't then have a look as there is heaps of info over there about them. One of the things that I have found is that you can use vitara pistons in the turbo engine to save having to get forged one for example. I have recently bought a cam and sprocket from Mike Cove a guy in Canada that is right into these things.

Great looking car by the way, so when are you going to start making bonnets for the rest of us :D

Don't rush on my account (I'm sure you wont anyway), I've got much respect for you doing everything thoroughly the first time. I've rushed many mods on mine that make me wish I could start the whole thing over!
