Cruise Details:
The place: Wollongong, NSW
The date: Saturday 19/3/2005
The time: 11:30am
Meeting point for the day will be Flagstaff Point (the lighthouse) in Wollongong at 11:30am. From there, we will do a lap of the city and then cruise down to Kiama via Tourist Drive 10 (Five Islands/Shellharbour Road).
Following a stopover at the blowhole, we will then find some grub - possibly just over the hill at Werri Beach (Gerringong Bowling & Recreation Club) or somewhere in Kiama itself - perhaps Kiama Leagues Club in Terralong Street? If anyone has a suggestion then please reply to this thread.
Things to remember:
* A full tank of fuel
* UHF (CB) Radio - Channel 25
* A happy attitude! We're all pretty relaxed and easy to talk to, so make sure you introduce yourself.
If I've missed anything out then let me know.
Oh, and in case anyone wants to buy a shirt or sticker, I'll be bringing along the few I have left of each.

Yeah if we're considering Mark then Saturday would be best. I have no problem with that. How about the weekend before Easter? Saturday 19th of March?

Cheers. Theres a bigger pic under the "oh what a feeling" thread in the MB section of the forum.
Last time we went to the gong we met at the lighthouse, then lapped the town for a bit, then went to a pub for some drinks. Nobody really knew the area well enough to organise much more.
This time I reckon we should meet at the lighthouse (or somewhere else if theres a better place) and cruise down the tourist drive 10 (Five Island / Shellharbour roads) to the blowhole at Kiama, then head somewhere for lunch and drinks. There's a neat little club just south of Kiama at Werri Beach that I've been to for another cruise, and the food was good there. Beer on tap too, which is always good!
That sound okay? Other suggestions?
Don't forget to spread the word about the cruise too!
