I wasn't planning on rushing, but maybe sit on 90 most of the way instead of 110 to 120 like it easily can now. I just found a minor coolant weep, that might be some of the cause of the issue with getting hot up at high speeds.

Cheers

Just found out i have a wedding to go to on the Saturday  so i'll have to work around that. I'll still come!!! Just means a huge drive there and back with little break between. Just hope the car cools down overnight. I will definitely have to do some work on the radiator before i go though. :(

Because of Powercurise, I can't get my Boy in for it's first dyno tune with the F6a until the first of march! Hopfully the tune goes alright and I can re-book the 2nd and 3rd tune the following days. Wish me luck. :|

I just realised that in addition to respraying and fitting a new gearbox to Special Ed, I also need to do a mountain of work to the Snot Rocket in less than 2 months! Eeek! :-o

Off the top of my head:
- Finish brake upgrade
- Install coilovers
- Fit new seats (need to get them upholstered first)
- Wire in alarm system/immobiliser & new guages
- Install new radiator
- Install remote oil filter locator and cooler

I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting.

Switching to an alloy radiator. The brake upgrade is a surprise. ;)

I think they might be 11", but they are slotted and ventilated. Anyway, lets keep this thread on topic before Tez beats us both!

Lol guys. This is getting much closer isn't it! My boy will be ready to make the trip, at least it looks that way, but it probably won't be the way i'd like it just yet.

Cheers

Hey Chris.

No worries :D
The big thing is to get a site/cabin/caravan (whatever) booked.
I don't think they have any cabins left for that weekend though, now.
