Rims fit & clear with a little more clearance than my bare 13x5.5 et 38's, but i don't yet have tyres. Currently running 165/65 R13's so about the same overall size, so shouldn't have any clearance issues. I've just had to fork out for rent in advance & bond on a "home away from home" to stay at thru the week, which was meant to be tyre money. I think i can find the $650 for a set of tyres in a couple weeks time, once rego is paid on the EB. lol.JohnnyB wrote:I got the same for the Cervo Mode. Ouch! $680 for tyres? You should be able to get Bridgeys for $120 a corner. They're OEM fitment/replacements for the Daihatsu Copen.

I have been quoted between 180 - 195 for the bridgestones! They are easy to get, IF i can get Federals, they are about $150 a corner.Brayden wrote:Ouch! $680 for tyres? You should be able to get Bridgeys for $120 a corner. They're OEM fitment/replacements for the Daihatsu Copen.

Try a different supplier. I know places like Taleb, St. George and Tempe in Sydney can do them for closer to $120 a pop.

Adding freight to me & then cost of local fitting doesn't save much if anything at all.Brayden wrote:Try a different supplier. I know places like Taleb, St. George and Tempe in Sydney can do them for closer to $120 a pop.

I'm looking for 165/40 R15's for my new rims. Much more expensive. I've got some 165/65 R13's i paid about $75 a pop for on the boy atm. Plenty of rubber left on them, but i want my new rims on the boy!Arctic Alto wrote:There is a place in brunswick.

you tell me what you want and i will see what i can do for you. tyre shop said $140 a tyre for my 175/50/r13's . then my mate that works ther got them for me fitted for $95 each. haha. so if you can get a size and brand (find out what exists, lol coz they wouldn't believe me when i said that size)ToranaGuy wrote:
