It started up. Got a mobile mechanic to have a look, he sed it was good that i got him to do the bit i couldn't, also sed it should pass road worthy easy. Going to ring a few places now, get some prices. Hopefully rego'd tomorrow. My 2nd dary throttle thing in carbie is lose, he's worried it might fall into engine, and sed it might sputter when going 60km/h or more. So i'll chase one of them up, i have a spare but it doesn't have the same hoses on it, for my intake. Thanks everyone for your help.

Ohh even better news, engine warms up, then when it gets near 3/4 fan comes on and cools it down to 1/4 ish. And it idles without the choke. And sounds like a beast. Soo Happy

Took it for a drive with no plates coz the rego wanted to inspect the engine, coz the numbers didn't match. Brakes pulse and vibrate quite abit, anyone know what it is, i got the wheel bearings done before rotors went on.

I'd also check the following items out when trying to work out what's going on in the front end.

Caliper slides - do they slide freely?
Nothing at all is loose? Steering rack, or anything bolted to it.
Swap another set of tyres on the front - they could be incorrectly balanced or out of balance.
Rotor might be slightly warped - i put brand new rotors on & one was not quite flat on the pad surface from the factory!

The rotor wasn't out by enough to cause brake shudder according to the brake joint, it was out tho, but we tested with another set of tyres & even had all the front end bits looked over. I ended up getting the rotor machined, and the issue went away......

On larger car's like falcon's i've seen rotors out by 3 times as much & not vibrate....

Cheers
