Indicator Pins?

Hey would anyone be able to tell me which way the indicator cancel pins sit on the steering wheel when its facing dead straight?

Can't be accurate off the top of my head except that they protrude from the wheel just enough to interfere with the switch in order to cancel the indicator but not so much that they hinder the wheels turning.
I'll PM my mobile so you can remind me to look at mine tomorrow.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..

Only wondering because i have a boss kit on there and I have to turn the wheel abit to turn the right indicator on. I assume the pins sit like : that

Pins sit at 12 and 6. I have had the same indicator issue with every boss kit I've tried. Never bothered to look for a solution though.

My boss kit makes the right indicator not want to turn on at first then sometimes not turn off.

left indicator is fine however

My boss kit didn't come with pins!

So I made some by cutting the heads off some small screws:

It seemed to do the trick, and the indicators work like factory.

I wasn't certain but knew it was either 6 & 12 or 9:30 & 2:30. 2.5mm roll pins work really well too, just drill the right size hole & tap them in.
