Why not just run all the sensors from the f5b? Swap the sub looms over?

Yeah, that's what I'll be doing; swapping inlet manifold, distributor and coolant sensors over to the F5B stuff
F6A Ecu plugs completely different so that wont work
Unfortunately the loom that came with the F6A is missing the driver side guard wiring so I cant use that without a lot of work.

Something interesting, the older F5B has a 3 wire distributor thats completely different - and apparently has its own spark ecu.
My other F5B has the same 2 wire dissy as my F6As

Interesting, but not surprising.
Seems like every model of Suzuki has strange inconsistencies!

Well it sorta runs
But mainly with the MAP sensor un-vacuumed - but connected
Also managed to get a compression test and it was something like 60/110/60, typical
still better than the F5B

Admittedly if I put more effort in I would be further ahead, but I'm lacking motivation.
Its at my mates, but he's never able to help me and its annoying doing it by myself.
- He's just sold the house so I may have to bring it home

Bought a few connectors from
http://www.cycleterminal.com/ to convert the F5B loom to accept F6A manifold, and some spares for other car.
Benny have you sourced rings? Or did you get those JE pistons?

Hey mate, haven't ordered my pistons and rings yet, everything sorta been on hold as always happens with a project, I will be getting the JE pistons and rings though, when I priced them etc ages ago was only going to be about $600-650 for a set with rings and pins included, but will need to confirm price again when time comes, I did find some standard f6a rings somewhere, will try find them again

Almost a year
Besides it being trailered to my house from mates, it hasn't been touched for ages

Still untouched, I've concluded that I couldn't be bothered to make the engine run properly in what's supposed to be a temporary stint..
So I managed to grab a couple of paint colours to test, and think I'm down to two choices - will spray each on a door (unsure from what car yet)
Then I'll be attempting to make/find some space to start bodywork and paint on the black one
Speaking of doors, I'm not convinced that the horizontal door handle style of the cp21s looks better than the cm11v verticals
