Ok at least 1 is on the road, registered, drivable. Still waiting on the series 1 import window. And well the other 1 re soft top I think I have given up and will use it for parts as well as the other doner one we bought. 2 out of 4 aint bad I suppose.........so sad :(

Ok now for an update. Just had window bloke here with new window all the way from Japan and taken just over 4 weeks and guess what IT WAS THE WRONG ONE......LOL It was one for my other MB's not my grey import. I gave them the Vin no. and everything and they still got it wrong. So they are going to ...

We had an old steam gernie many years ago that would strip the paint off anything it touched....I remember doing the truck chasis's and the paint peeling.....much to hubbys disgust....lol

It also needs a roll bar installed behind the seats. Tom went through the hassle of trying to get his convertible MB registered and it was traumatic. I would like to know why these sorts of MBs arent worth very much, when it is almost impossible to get parts for them or is this why :?: Some parts are interchangable so far we have learnt, its mostly the cosmetic stuff.
