Does anyone have a place in Sydney they can highly recommend to recondition an F8B long engine?
Any ideas as to how much a workshop would charge if I drop my car in and receive it with a reco engine?

I have two laser ghia rims with new 175/75R13's and they just rub,or should I say nic the sides or the guard or something when I throw the car into a corner. There is a very obvious height increase with these sized tyres/rims. I will see how they go on the front, this is the real test. Either way I ...

Question about tire sizes
I have read the tire conversion tips; but, does anyone know if 165/75R13 tires are suitable for the mighty boy?
Can I at least use two for the rear and fit lower profile bubber on the front?
I do understand 60 profile or lower will do the trick.

Suitable car seats
What can anyone tell me about seats and keeping the original seat rails?
Is there any easy way without drilling holes and placing spacers etc?
What have others done on a budget of, say $300 all up?

yes, I thought the carby would be a problem it wasn't and the dizzy, I thought, no way; still, it works even though it's adjusted to the max so there is not much I can do to adjust it. Yesterday I got the tappets done, and it goes really smoothe. 110km/h on the M5 and it could have gone more. I am r...

Just got my hands on a Hatch 800 Auto transmission supplement manual. (1984) I have discovered that the f8b/auto set up I got to replace the F5a auto in my MB is actually an f8b manual engine setup with an Auto hooked onto it. I am wondering how essential it is to have all the auto carby set up incl...

Some one tells me 83 another person tells me 88, others 100 but i am sure thats for the F5A :? Apart from the suzuki original (which I am sure is going to cost a p...

Brayden, in your coversion article on the site, you mention polishing the intake manifold (dremel).... The chap that i got this engine off tells me it is great idea to polish and smooth out the intake on the head as well. His suggestion seems like a good idea to complement what you mention about the...
