Re: Jezza's SK410 Van Build

Mock up of seats (Hyundai i30) and steering wheel setup The seats were fitted to stock rails. They sit higher than stock, which does feel a bit odd as you sit higher. But with the steering wheel + boss kit, the driving position is almost same distance as stock, just a little higher IMG_20220112_1753...

Re: Jezza's SK410 Van Build

Fabricated a mount for the radiator to fit. It looks like the hoses should still fit *fingers crossed* The inlet and outlet are a few cm to the passengers side. The stock shroud fits for now, but will need to make something custom to fit better Im planning on make an air tunnel straight to the filte...

Re: Jezza's SK410 Van Build

My roof lining was sagging, and I had the roof "popping" in when the wind pressure was too much. The roof supports were slightly kinked, so decided to fabricate some bigger and better ones! Was a massive pain trying to remove the foam backing stuck to the roof I used some high temp adhesiv...

Re: Jezza's SK410 Van Build

Just some parts I purchased

The radiator I bought was supposedly for a SK410, but later found it isnt the same size. Apparently its from a ST90
The boss kit - SAAS BK134L also doesnt fit

Re: Jezza's SK410 Van Build

Engine removal and clean up The engine had been leaking coolant and some oil - when it was taken apart, the headgasket fell out in three pieces lol Coolant had leaked into the bores IMG_20211201_172338.jpg IMG_20211201_172151.jpg IMG_20211201_163400.jpg IMG_20211201_163354.jpg IMG_20211201_163331.jpg

Hi all, Ive bought some headers from iPunkz (https://www.ipunkzexhaustsystem.com/?product=header-carry) I did a CFM calculation (https://m.roadkillcustoms.com/determine-proper-exhaust-tubing-size/), and estimate about 60hp output 60x2.2 = 132 CFM Im going to be fabricating the rest of the exhaust. Re: Brake lights stopped working

Damn my lack of electrical wiring diagram knowledge So what I can see, is that there are 2 wires (green) which is 12v that goes to the brake light stop switch The brake light stop switch is grounded, so when the "button" on the switch is activated/deactived, this closes the circuit and mak...

Re: Brake lights stopped working

Ok, so figured it was the brake switch Replaced and worked Then as said above, the wiring got caught in the steering column and ripped it! Now I have no more brake lights My normal lights work though Have checked fuses, checked bulbs, re-done wiring. Everything looks good. Took out the fuse box, and...

Brake lights stopped working

Hey guys, So ive checked my bulbs, and replaced with new. No lcuk Both filaments look good anyways 5 amp fuses are fine I cleaned plugs, and all good The only thing I could think of is either a brake in the wire (and no short), or brake light (stop light) switch mounted near the steering wheel rack?...
