cheers guys :D weekend job, when i can get to it :/ either that or pick up my leads at lunch and do it at work lol, quick query while im at it, will an f5a run off f8b parts ? like using a distributor and everything for an f8b, or will it run like crap ? either way it would be an improvement :P

ok so my old man thinks ignition, getting new plugs and leads tomorrow, had to order the leads in lol. any technical info I need on the distributor ? like gaps or anything gonna give it a cleanup while im at it :D

Well that made it start easier :D didn't keep running without pulling the choke back out (full choke and sit on the go pedal a little bit), almost like it revs to low and just drops out, but started fine when I got to work after it had warmed up :D

cheers guys, ill look for it :D just to hopefully confirm the thoughts, first start this morning choke to the max, turn key, eh eh eh eh eh eh floor the go pedal it fires, have to keep choke out for about a minute otherwise it just stalls, hope this confirms the thought so far :D

nah i wanna stick to good brands, MB is only n/a so i dont need to much i wouldnt think, i was thinking maybe tacho, replace the original gauges and build a custom dash with a gps speedo seems its out anyways, just wandering what else should be added, any other temp or pressure gauges ? :D (just for...

ok so now in QLD you take the weight of your car and multiply by 5 for n/a and 3 for forced
on this basis, MB at 550 for n/a means rotary, how difficult would this be in theory ?
