The carrier/selector shaft is the shaft inside the box the hold the selector forks on it. There are bearing on the ends of the shaft that allow it to slide forwards and backwards in order to select the gears. These bearings can be replaced But I think I will now wait till I gotten my skyline back on...

LOL My bad, I found out what the carrier baring is.

I'll kepp the car in mind. I am looking for something that I can just get in and drive.... No work needed.

The carrier bearing is just a linkage thing is it not??

I doubt that it will ned a new box.

I will keep it in mind. I will have to sell my current cat first.

I have an 07 Swift sport but I love my altos.
