Hi guys, just wondering about the compatibility of the CC72V gearbox mounts compared with a hatch/mightyboy.
when i swapped the engine and gearbox out of the alto we wrecked all we did was swap the mounts from the alto to the mightyboy.
(mightyboy has 2 supports, alto has one in the centre)
Would the 5 speed AWD gearbox from japan bold straight in?
I was thinking it would because the early model alto's were all the same weren't they?
It would bold directly onto the little N/A F5A too wouldn't it?
(yes i know there would be no torque to get it quicker but a 5th gear would be just nice for crusing)
*If i get it I won't be using the AWD, just 5 speed.

There's no reason you could adapt something to make it fit the Hatch/MB mounts. Bear in mind that you'll have to change to a cable select shifter as well, and you'll also need custom driveshafts.
