Hey,
Ive done a search and theres been a few topics, but nothing concrete. Has anyone successfully done an electronic ignition conversion to a f8b?
What parts are required? Is there anything "easy" or will it have to be done by a professional?

I've added a MSD 6A to one of my earlier cars, still retained the points though. In this, the points don't have to handle the current that they normally would, so they last a helluva lot longer. The 6A gives you a much better spark, ended issues with plugs oiling & rich-fouling.
Considered mucking about with optical pickups/hall effect sensors, but at the time I lacked the facilities to do the machining work involved to do a really good job of it (incidentally, if anyone has a suitable donor dizzy & end housing that can be parted with, let me know )
