I have read the tire conversion tips; but, does anyone know if 165/75R13 tires are suitable for the mighty boy?
Can I at least use two for the rear and fit lower profile bubber on the front?
I do understand 60 profile or lower will do the trick.

In NSW/ACT you must have the same size tyres on all rims. 165/65/R13 are the easiest to come by, or even 155/70/R13.

Yes that's fine. I was asking because I already have a pair of 70's and 75's. The real question is, ( understanding that speedo will be out of wak as well ) will 70 profile or 75 profile (165) rub on the guards or any other part of the car whilst turning?... Ta.

That will depend on the offset of the rims, but yeah they'll most likely rub somewhere. ;)

I have two laser ghia rims with new 175/75R13's and they just rub,or should I say nic the sides or the guard or something when I throw the car into a corner. There is a very obvious height increase with these sized tyres/rims. I will see how they go on the front, this is the real test. Either way I will probably try to find 155 60's or 65's, as I don't want them to rub at all.

I'm running 155/65R13's on my alto, they're the 'stock' size as offered on some daihatsu's and hankook provide OEM tyres you can get some good cheap silica's that grip excellently and dont mess with your drive ratio.
