Hey all,
Looking at getting a cappo and want to do something stupid like drop a rotary in it but having troubles finding qld engine laws seems they like to hide it in a hard to find place. Just wandering if it is at all legal or how high i can go in engine capacity
Thanks.

If QLD are now in line with the NCOP for modifications then the maximum engine size without certification is 120% of standard. For a cappa that is 792cc.
The absolute limit with certification is 3x the vehicle mass. Cappuccino weighs 725kg, making the max engine size 2175cc, naturally aspirated.
Rotary engines incur a 2x multiplier on swept volume. (13B: 1.3L x 2 = 2.6L). Forced induction has a 1.5x multiplier.
