G10 was the code for the very first model of charade.
The engine though, was a CB60, a balance-shaft, belt driven, 6valve OHC, it was, though, also 993cc's.
F12 engine please help...

G10 & 993cc indicate it's more than likely a 1L, 3 cylinder Swift motor (not a charade motor)
Yeah mate, got 'em. I'll post em up shortly.
Looks to me like a Swift G10A and box, but see what others say when they see the pics.

Brayden, Thanks.
Mowog, what year / model was your motor from? what u do wit it? and the 993 number was just above the engine number near the gear box, i'm pretty sure i sent a pic of the engine number to brayden aswell.
will keep you's posted on the removal of the engine.

Yes there were two pics of the engine number, but both were too blurry to read. Even without a picture of that number I'm 95% certain that it is a Swift G10A motor that you have.
If you need another one then they're dime a dozen at the wreckers.

That's a swift for mine, the daihatsu engine would sit further back in the engine bay, i believe. I guess it depends on the mounts too.

Yours is the second I've heard of, ever. So no, it isn't very common compared to the F8B swap.
