It stinks that neither of these manufacturers list dB SPL figures for their products. That and the way they toss off about the Peak Music Power figures for their products as if it means anything significant. Obviously producing drivers alone that are left at the mercy of the enclosures their end users construct you'd need to be a little weary about throwing up SPL figures, but still... No professional audio manufacturer would get away with it...

Thanks truder, I already visited that page. As I said, no indication of factory SPL, it's a joke. At least on that page there's an indication of the continuous power handling capacity, but the fact that the PMPO is stressed in all the hype about the JackHammer is just insulting.

*lol* Tell me about it. They must have paid their fare share in addition to the donation of the stock for the hype they were given.

No Niiko, I'm not talking about sensitivity, I'm talking about the maximum continuous Sound Pressure Level, not to mention the overall technical detail, or more to the point, lack thereof. MTX don't even appear to quote the frequency response for this driver. It's absurd.

Bretto, why do you feel the need to mock me? I'm not making any personal slights against you or anybody else. I'm simply engaging in public commentry on a product. That's why you started the thread, right? :|

So, to your mind, whenever a manufacturer hypes up a product that they're producing, we should just all get together and beat off about it as if we have some stake or pride in that manufacturer or product, completely irrespective of its performance and/or quality? :|
