mounting a tacho

hi,

jsut wondering where other MB owners have tachos and where they have mounted them. mine is a speco one and doesn't fit on the right hand side of the steering wheel on the dash. and it seems a bit out of place on the dash to the left of the steering wheel.

any ideas??

i have mine mounted on the dash to the right of the steering wheel and resting against the windscreen in the corner there. its a 2 3/8 tacho..

When I had an MB dash I mounted my 3.5" tacho from the 'A' pillar down near the dashboard. Now I have the Hatch dashboard there is plenty of space on the RHS of the steering wheel to mount one.

hey daronk, how did ya get it into the dash? mine will rest against the windscreen but there seems to bugger all room to screw it in! did u make a custom mount or something? thanks

I screwed mine to the pillar, the back of the pod rests on the dash.
easy!

It's not at the right angle in those photos, it needs the angle fixing.

mine is mounted like stevens. its not in the dash its resting on the dash. it looks good there..

repco sell them. there are made by speco and they are plastic mounting pod..
