so would i encript any rubbing of guards or off bumps if i had 14's like that but only 5.5 or 6.0 with the leaf sprin turned over or lowered. and front redone and lowered.
Depending on the offset and size of the tyres you would be fine, although turning over the rear springs would make it sit on the bumpstops.Munchskinman wrote:so would i encript any rubbing of guards or off bumps if i had 14's like that but only 5.5 or 6.0 with the leaf sprin turned over or lowered. and front redone and lowered.

If you are trying to squeeze big rims under a mb, the rims would have to be 15 x 5.5 as for the tyres they would have to be 185 or 195 40 profile.
I run 195 40 15 and it rubs on the rear guard just slightly, and yes it is lowered. Also my mags are off a hyundai elantra. 15 x 5.5

i only want 14's to stay legal. also i think 15's are a bit big for me. so i should be looking for 14x5.5 with 185 or 195 tyre and a 40profile? i havent seen any yet.
edit - niiko you got some pics of your car and wheels close up.

Niiko... 195/40/R15? What brand? I run 165/50/R15 on a 5.5" rim and have no scrubbing issues at all.
As for the question on 14" tyres, 175/50/R14 is the right size.
