Was that in shootout mode? Your figures seem abnormally high considering that stock on 7PSI that motor only produces 50kw at the flywheel!

i dont think it was shoot out mode.

I made sure I was there to watch it on the dyno and take some vid's and pics as it achieved similar power a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to see it for myself.

Also not 100% sure what turbo is on the car but was rebuilt and hi-flowed a month ago which may also affect the figures.

Will try and put up the video and pics of the dyno sheets (may take a few days as dont have the net at home and limited what I can do at work).

Only other way to test the figures is quarter mile i guess, not sure when I can get out to do that, will require rego before that (sorting engineering now) :)

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you were inflating the power figure. Shootout mode is just the most accurate way of comparing figures from different dyno locations.

Shootout mode locks down all settings so there is no way for the dyno to give an artificially high figure. (Some dyno operators are known for tweaking their settings to give higher readings. Why? Because it helps their business!)

Totally dont mind the comments, encouraged and appreciated infact as it educates me about the limitations of the paperwork I have. :)

They are some impressive figures & i'd love to know what it would do on the 1/4 mile, traction pending i guess!

Is it a blue one with rear mounted battery?

Yes that one, no longer rear mounted battery and some other changes too. running a lot better than when I bought it, i think from memory dyno prior to all changes (so i could see the difference) was 45kw. will try to get active with posting photos in the members section soon.

sure is, can you shed any light..?

Maybe you built it and sold it to Jacob in western sydney who I then bought it from?

I bought it off a guy that did the build, had it sitting around for 6months, took the front badge off it then sold it to Jacob. The engine install looked great. and the mbs body condition is the best. You got a good car.
I just didnt have time for engineering.

FYI: The dash was stock when I had it. I know its changed.

will wait until my mighty boy owners account gets approved and will put a few more pics and descriptions up.

I really need a good set of wheels and tires and the correct wheel nuts, looking for a nice set that will bolt straight on without any modifications required and I ought to do it before engineering.
