what do u mean free spins? the engine winds over as if there was no spark plugs?

make sure the wire from the dizzy to the coil wasn't unplugged when you took the carby off.

if that's ok, take a plug off and put your finger over it while cranking, to check if you are getting compression...

you no how you put your hand ova the carby to prime it. well its got no pull to it. like usual.

Doesn't it only pull when its running?

No compression is bad news! I'd disconnect the coil and whip the rocker cover off. Crank it over and see if the cam turns.

it was sucking fine before i took the carby off and pulled the top off and blew the jets out. so i dunno i'm guessing its leaking somewhere in the carby.

that wont help cause its not pulling anything thru the carby.

it should

i no it should but that's what my problem is, ever since i fitted the carby again it doesn't. so my guess there has to be a massive vacuum leak in the carby somewhere.

A vacuum leak in the carby wouldn't explain why the engine has no compression when cranking. As I suggested, check the cam is turning.

brayden, i think was he is tryin to say is, that the carby dsnt suc when u wind it over, as it did before the carby was pulled off, but it still sounds like it has no compression if it "free wheels" when winding

yeah ill have to have a look to see if its got compression i just cant see how it would happen it in the time i had the carby off.
