does any one here know the dimentions for the capa engin bay??

if u could fit the busa motor and a 6speed box like mentioned in the 'busa boy' thread that would be a wepon cos i think they only weigh like bout 6-800kgs, that would make 0-100km/hr times under 4sec a reality and 10-13sec 1/4mile possible also.....

and that would free up the 550cc turbo donk for my mighty boy transplant with the addition of a fwd gearbox??? two upgrades with the one stone so to speak?? and i reccon u could do it all for under 30k including suspension and a computer for the busa-capa combination.....

No offence mate but your theory is flawed in many aspects.

Although a Hayabusa motor would have enough HP to move a Cappuccino, the gearbox would be destroyed on launch. A bike weighs, what? 200kg? Thats an extra 500kg worth of bulk to get mobile. Not to mention the collosal task of rigging up the gearbox to the Cappa driveline!

The Cappuccino already has an F6A (660cc) motor capable of 180-odd horsepower, but if you were really keen on making something wild, then a K6A or K10A motor would be a much more logical choice, running through the standard RWD drivetrain - albeit rebuilt and beefed up a bit.

That sort of conversion would probably only set you back in the vicinity of $5-10k, and still be street legal.

Yep, K10A is a marvellous engine! It's the eventual future of my alto, maybe a few years down the track though. Don't think i'll ever sell it :)

I don't know how you'd shoehorn a four pot K10A into an Kei Alto - I've done the sums on the G10A thats in my Alto and no way would it go into a Kei size car! :|

Do you mean the barwork that holds the steering column up?
That's standard Cappuccino.

these vids are from a prb powered by a busa motor, and it would be somewhere in the 500-600kg range....

check these vids out they r well worth the download time!!!

thats why i said u would need a new box (like the one at the link above). didnt think bout the dif, but getting something strong enough would not be any problem.
